I only had a chance to do a couple laps, and I was hammering. It’s stable, which inspires confidence to push hard. It turns like it’s on rails, and accelerates quite nicely. I’ll have a better evaluation after Saturday morning’s ride.
Those were my first comments after riding my Don Walker road bicycle. Now, 18 months and a few thousand miles later, it’s my go-to bicycle for fast road rides, long road rides, and any combination of the two. It’s not happy going slow; it was made to ride fast, and race. Since I’ve had this bike, my Madone has been a fixture in the garage.
